Set in Stone Inc. has been building concrete countertops and other design elements since 2007. Set in Stone serves Chattanooga and the surrounding area, crafting both residential and commercial projects, new construction as well as remodels. With our new shop location on W. Main St. we are a vested part of the growing arts movement in Chattanooga.
We are local craftsmen using local materials to make hand made custom products for the home. We have grown to appreciate the earth hewn quality that makes concrete unique and different from all the run of the mill countertop options out there. Concrete lends itself well to artistic expression and personalization. Because concrete is so custom and personal, every job is different and every day is unique. From the building of forms, to the mixing of concrete, and the addition of dyes and aggregate, every step in the process is by hand. No two pieces that come out of our shop are the same.
We view the nature of our work as a collaborative and an extension of the skilled artisans and professionals we work with. We have an open shop environment that encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and information. We welcome the diversity of every job that we are involved in. It is our intent to make concrete both practical and beautiful, and is a tribute to what design and building can achieve together.
A local venue we display our product at is the Chattanooga Market. This is a weekly opportunity for artisans to come together and display handmade products. This venue is open to the public and offers fun family oriented activities. Set In Stone also has a showroom where you can see a variety of concrete on display and for sale.
Concrete is a part of everything we come in contact with daily. From the buildings we work in to the roads we drive on… help us bring concrete in from the cold.
